The upcoming 35th season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Franchise will be the 2nd full year for Head Coach, Raheem Morris, who compiled a dismal 3-13 record in 2010. This year, the Bucs have the #3 overall pick in the upcoming 2010 NFL draft which they may use on a LT to help protect their young franchise QB Josh Freeman.
Some changes in the staff have already occurred. Greg Olsen has taken over the offensive coordinator position. Alex Van Pelt joined the team taking Olsen’s position as quarterbacks coach. Wide receivers coach Richard Mann left the team and was replaced by Eric Yarber. Todd Walsh now has full responsibility for the defensive line as coach Robert Nunn also left. DB coach Joe Berry also left the team and was replaced by Joe Baker, Jimmy Lake became a defensive backs coach, Tim Holt joined on as an offensive assistant coach and Chris Mosley became the defensive assistant coach.
Look for the team to address its needs on the defensive line, at the wide receiver position and the left tackle position.
