About Tampa Bay Buccaneers |

The Buccaneers became a part of the National Football League with the expansion of 1976 and played one season in the AFC West but in 1977 were moved to the NFC Central where they played until 2001. From 2002 on, the franchise has been in the NFC South.
For a brief span between the late 70’s and the early 80’s, the team went through fourteen consecutive losing seasons but have , since 1997, have consistently made it into the playoffs even winning Super Bowl XXXVII, blitzing the Oakland Raiders 48-21.
The franchise has won one League Championship, one Conference Championship and six Division Championships. They have made ten playoff appearances in thirty-four seasons.
The team has played in two locations; Tampa Stadium (1976-1997) and Raymond James Stadium (1998-present)
